General Information
Usually committees have two topics which delegates research beforehand with the help of ‘topic guides’ written for them by the committee chairs. This enables you to deliberate with other possible delegate allies through this blog and finally allows you to engage in diplomatic style debate in the actual EUROMAL Conference this February. Debate is conducted through a series of rules of procedure which structure discussions based on the real Arab League.
Resolutions
Resolutions represent a firm foundation for future cooperation and are therefore seen as an integral part of the Conference. In a Model Arab League they provide the chance for social learning and the opportunity to demonstrate debating skills and other methods of diplomatic initiation, depending on the committee.
A successful resolution will be the fruition of a fair and reasoned deliberation in which all country’s views are taken into consideration and from which a unified course of action results.
